Hi! My name is Allison Palmer, and I am one of the current Editors-in-Chief of The Papyrus. I am a current senior in the Class of 2026 and am originally from McLean, Virginia.

I have been on The Papyrus since my Lower Mid year, and have served as a staff writer, news section editor, and now Editor-in-Chief. My favorite topics to cover throughout the years have been interviews with faculty and staff, Taft art performances, and personal opinion pieces. Outside of The Papyrus, I serve as the Vice President of the Taft Financial Society, a School Monitor, and am a member of the Taft Women’s Crew team. When I’m not in school, I enjoy spending time with my friends, cooking, and reading.
