Hi! I’m Chelsea Soetemo, and I serve as editor for the Arts & Leisure section of The Papyrus. I am a member of the class of 2027, and my hometown is Surabaya, Indonesia. 

I joined The Papyrus as a staff writer in the fall of my Mid year, excited to be part of a platform that amplifies student voices and connects the Taft community. Of all the articles I’ve written, my favorite is one on self-love for our Valentine’s Day issue, but my first-ever article covering guest speaker Chloe Valdary is a close second. Some other clubs that I am involved in at Taft are GetCanny, the Community Service Board, and the Economics Club. To de-stress, I love taking naps, going for a jog, and watching K-Dramas.
