Hi, my name is Elly Ouellette, and I am the current sports editor of The Papyrus! I am a senior in the class of 2026, and I am from Bethlehem, Connecticut. 

I have been on The Papyrus since my Mid-year at Taft when I joined as a staff writer. I have enjoyed writing a variety of articles, ranging from satirical features to sports covers and faculty highlights. Outside of The Papyrus, I serve as a School Monitor, captain of the Taft Girls Varsity Soccer team, and participate in the Taft Global Service and Studies Diploma program. Outside of school, I love reading, baking, hanging out with friends, and going for bike rides.
