My name is Rachel Chae, and I am one of the current Head Writers of The Papyrus. I am a senior in the Class of 2026, and I live in Singapore.

I have been writing for The Papyrus since my freshman year, and have enjoyed writing about topics ranging from global current events to niche opinion pieces. Beyond this, I’m also the co-founder of a nonprofit organization (Fair Chance Initiative), a co-head for the Pan-Asian Affinity Group, and a violist for our school’s chamber orchestra. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, spending time with friends, and playing sports like tennis and volleyball.
